Amazon’s new delivery lockers let you pick up orders discreetly at 7-Eleven

John Cook has in-the-wild photos of Amazon’s new 7-Eleven based delivery lockers, which were first reported by Matt Hickey in The Daily on Friday (9/2).  The lockers allow you to send an Amazon package to this neutral location, where you can access your package with a code supplied by Amazon by email.

Hickey was right – the thing “looks like the offspring between an ATM machine and a safety deposit box.”

Will the lockers open up a whole new market for Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) for goods that people are too embarrassed to send to their home or office?

Just one Covestor model holds AMZN as of end of day 9/2/11: Undervalued Opportunities from Eric Steiman’s ES Capital Advisors.
