This weeks Wall Street Transcript Interview is with Covestor member Peter Kurata, aka IBD Investor. Peter is a former Microsoft Manager and now a full time self-investor.
He is a passionate follower of William
O’Neil’s CANSLIM system, and reader of the Investors Business Daily newspaper. IBD called the market correction on Jan 7th, so Peter is currently out of the markets: following a risk minimizing approach that has him ranked 10th right now on Covestor by Annualized Sharpe Ratio.
In his interview Peter talks about his experience with CANSLIM, and how he believes in rule based approaches to help limit the emotion that prevents many traders from making rational decisions. Included in the interview are a number of charts that explain the system in more detail, and highlight successful applications of the model.
